Sanctuary on Alma is located between Alma Road and Hughes Road, Dakabin an area of Moreton Bay Regional Council. Close and handy to the Dakabin Train Station, Sanctuary on Alma is strategically placed between the infrastructure of main conduits connecting Dakabin with the M1 (Bruce Highway) and the newly developed residential developments across the Moreton Bay Regional Council regions. As part of the economic principles implemented by local government SEQ Regional Plan 2005 -2026 a range of housing types and residential densities, increase of density across less land is being used to house more people. This being a mixture of townhouses, apartments and homes to offer opportunities of meeting people and getting to know your neighbours while allowing for accessibility between Brisbane CBD and the Sunshine Coast.
During the 1st quarter of 2014 Land Solution Australia were engaged by their long standing client to assist in the provision of Set up GPS model and allowance for new site calibration and pre-calculations for survey set out for the residential development of Sanctuary on Alma.
Recommendation of a smart solution
The residential development of Sanctuary on Alma required Land Solution Australia to provide Set-out for construction, budget allowance for volumes and final bulk and topsoil, sub-grade field, computational checks, reductions from field survey set-out and prepare machine control files of design for clients on survey equipment. As con drafting to a local government (MBRC ) standard and ADAC files were delivered on finalise as-con to stage 1 amendments.

Our registered surveyors ensured that the set-out for construction for boundary and retaining wall, kerb lip line, island and driveway, and As-con field survey for sewer and storm water were undertaken to meet client timeframe. These survey requirements involved data management and analysis for budget allowance for volumes/final bulk and topsoil, sub-grade field and office computation, and reduction and reporting of As-con for final drafting presentation.
