Pelican Waters, Sunshine Coast
Pelican Waters located in Caloundra, Sunshine Coast covers an 810 hectare and is described as an magnificent water based community filled with residential homes, villas and apartments, schools, shopping, dining, sports and recreational activities. Pelican Waters was first released in 1989, its master plan was to offer diversity from ocean access waterfront homes with water views to showcasing a community development close to Pumicestone Passage, Caloundra CBD and just an hour north of Brisbane and half an hour to the Sunshine Coast Airport. Pelican Waters is located in close proximity to rainforest walks, the Glasshouse Mountain ranges filled with rolling hills, mountain hideaways, scenic dams and breathtaking landscapes.
In mid 2013 Land Solution Australia were approached by their client to provide survey requirements for calculating and reporting on preload test site areas, managing constructible 3D models, calculate Tin and lines DWG files, volume surveys, field verification and liaison regarding to loading of data files to on site plant for construction of Stages 12, 13 and 14 of Pelican Waters.

Land Solution Australia worked closely with their client to meet their surveying requirements and extended their survey services to provide 1:1 training on their clients own survey equipment to staff. Our surveyor would prepare and send machine control data files and 3D constructible models for earthworks to meet the client’s QA requirements and compliance to meet strict engineering and environmental guidelines.

To ensure accurate data files were uploaded to our clients equipment required our surveyor to be on constant call to check, prepare and manage office data for bulk earthworks to construction of infrastructure such as roads, storm water and sewer.
