To provide consistent datum over a period of time was vital to both our client and our ongoing commitments on site. This has meant we were able to manage the data on behalf of our client and with information and knowledge create a clear and detailed survey plan across playing surface extents and tunnels/walkways moving forward.
Recommendation of a smart solution
The Detail Survey of the Gabba ground area, walkways and tunnels has been completed including detailed as built plans. Incorporated into their survey requirements, Land Solution Australia provided a copy of the site plan of the stadium for the monitoring work conducted since 2008. Using the existing marks that we had on the perimeter drain and in the stands we were able to re- establish the site grid and the level datum to coincide the survey for the rest of the stadium and create 3D laser scan point cloud of the stadium to provide to our client.
Premium service delivery
Land Solution Australia have provided a multi-disciplined service for their client from Beam Tip monitoring in 2008 to surveying levels over the playing surface in 2013.
